Name: Mountainheart
Age: 78 moons.
Gender: Tom
Clan: Stoneclan
Rank: Deputy
Appearance: Mountainheart is a tall, muscular tom, but his form is hidden under long grey tabby fur. He has a white ruff around his neck, and a white belly. Black rings circle his tail, then the circles thicken until it becomes a black tail tip. Thick dark stripes are lashed down his back onto a light grey background.
The way he moves is light and graceful, although he doesn't look like it. A wise and thoughtful look is always across his face, but warmth is always present in his gentle amber eyes.
Voice: Quite deep, its full of wisdom and reflects the words that come out. His tones are like a pebble gently hitting the water, short lived but they leave ripples of thought in their wake.
Battle: Mountainheart's moves are strong and well thought out, but never dirty or aiming to maim or kill.
Personality: The tom is a true peacemaker through and through. He doesn't like violence or fighting, but he will if it’s absolutely necessary. A peaceful and happy life is what he wants, his wisdom and serenity calming those around him.
He keeps his feelings close to him, hidden under the skin. If he’s angry, he just keeps himself calm but stern. If he’s happy, he smiles but is still calm. If he’s upset, he goes quiet but is still calm. Basically, he’s always calm.
History:
Mountainheart was born to a wise queen named Daffodilear, her first and last litter. He had two sisters, who he got on well with. The family was very close, caring for each other all the time.
He and his sisters were made apprentices, and mentored well. Mountainheart excelled with his intelligence to guide him, and grew into an accomplished fighter and hunter.
He grew more and more in age and respect, and even when he was still young many cats asked for his advice with many things, and he was always happy to help. A few started to suggest him as deputy, but he never said anything but no. He always said it wasn't his kind of thing.
He fell in love with a she-cat named Goldtail, and she liked him too, but only as a friend. It broke his heart when she told him that she was expecting another tom’s kits. He was never the same again, but it helped to teach him more valuble lessons in life.
His mother and father got old together, then died after a good life as elders.
Family: Mother: Daffodilear
Father: Redpelt
Siblings: Bushyfur and Blackstripe
SW: Mountainheart walked back to the camp, listening to his Clanmates complaints about the dismal weather. Rain spattered down on them all, soaking them. But the Clan still had to be fed. They'd had a surprisingly good hunt, as they'd caught a few peices of prey as they were getting back to their homes after the rain started. He’d managed to catch a rabbit and a magpie. They’d help to feed the Clan, along with mice and some small birds.
Happily, they reached the camp and shook themselves dry. The rain had nearly gotten through their thick coats, but not quite. Mountainheart purred as he saw Goldtail, his close friend. She smiled and trotted over, then waved her tail.
"Good hunt then?" She asked, her pretty young tone floating out. He nodded, gazing at her. She grinned, then gestured to the pile. “Come on, lets get some food before Dogbite guzzles it all!” She meowed playfully, then flashed a cheeky look at Dogbite across the clearing. They made their way over, Mountainheart gazing at her, but Goldtail only looking around and ahead.
Does she even know how much I like her?
Later that day, Mountainheart and Goldtail sat on guard in the evening, due to the rumours of a badger lurking around the territory. All was silent, and Mountainheart was brooding. This was the time; he could ask her about how she really felt about him. Just as he breathed in to summon up the courage, she opened looked up at him with honey colored eyes.
“Mountainheart? His heart fluttered, and he only just managed to keep calm as he turned to her.
“Yeah?” He smiled at her.
“I have some news to tell you…” She paused, then drew a breath. “I’m expecting kits!” Her face was spread in a broad grin as she waited for his reaction.
But he just couldn’t smile. His life crashed down around him.
How selfish are you? Shes just told you the most exciting news of her life and all you can do is sit there and wallow in your misery! Look at her, shes so happy. You can’t have everything.
Other: Not much. Hes nice and other cats mostly like him (I hope)…
