It's not like I'm walking alone Whispers in the Dark into the valley of the shadow of death
Fear the angered do not see the invisble only the visible
His grey lethal form was hunched over in the middle of the clearing, tail wrapped over dagger sharp claws. The only different color on him would be the crimson-hued fur that encircled his red optic. Audits were laced back, as he glared around at the many cats before him, wanting to kill them all. A yowl of fury flew his throat, still unbelieaving they'd caught him a few weeks ago. SLitted optics flickered over to what he now new was the leader's den, before onto the faces of the cat's again, two apprentinces ran over giggling jabbing their paws at him. Skull flew around and cold lyrics froze the warm air. "I'm daring you to try it again, your ancestors would be happy to meet you, and I belieave your blood would decerate this so called camp, Nicely..." In horror the young cats turned and raced away...A smirk played over the brute's kissers, as Whispers in the Dark droppped down into a crouch, tail lashing back and forth..

Sunfall rose from the nest inside his shady den, water trickling down one side into a small stream at the side of his den where it would be easy for his patients to drink. But, thankfully, he had no patients. But something else was troubling him.
Shaking a fern from his silver pelt, he stepped outside into the morning sunshine. The cat that Stoneclan had captured lay across the clearing, his strange crimson fur turned towards him.
Two apprentices came over, only to scramble away, nearly tripping over each other in their haste to get away from the unfriendly rogue. No wonder. Sunfall thought as he padded apprehensively over. As much as he didn't want this cat to turn his sharp tounge at him, the medicine cat wanted to make sure he was as comfortable as he could be.
His gaze steady, he halted at the spot where Stoneclan's convict stooped, looking down at him. "You ok?" Sunfall kept his words short, since he wanted this ordeal to be over with as soon as it could be. He could tell this rogue wasn't exactly a friendly chap, and it would be made even worse with him being kept prisoner and unhappy.
Has Stoneclan really made the right choice?

Hear the whispers in the darkWhispers in the DarkYou feel so lonely and raggedHow can I be here yet no where how can i be gone yet still be in front of you The storm-hued brute heaved himself up, but he sat in a hunched postion, as a Clan cat padded over, hiss erupted from him,but the cat seemed to pay no heed. He listened to the lyrics, the cat spoke, and laugh erupted from his silver mug, it was painstakling sharp, as his skull which had been turned to look ina different direction was aimed at the other cat. His mug parted again and lyrics that were dripping with something that often reminded cats of their ancestors sprawled into the warm air. "Hmm, besides being stuck in this sorrowful excuse of a place you call a home, by force. I belieave i'm just Fine."Optics narrowed even more as they locked onto the other cat's Whispers in the Dark spoke, he doubted they even knew his name, or cared. Audits were drawn back even farther, until they seemed to just become part of his short fur. Mug was drawn back to reveal sharply pointed knife like ivories that were laced into his jaw.

Dislike mounted inside the silver tom against Whispers In The Dark. His eyes narrowed slightly as the sarcastic, cruel tom laughed at his words. In a curt nod, Sunfall ended their brief and bitter conversation and swung round, then trotted on back to his den.
Bile rose in his mouth as he thought of the sour tom. How can any cat be so unpleasant? He thought, then rolled his eyes. I'm so stupid. Theres bound to be some cat thats not as nice as my Clanmates. He glanced a furtive glance round his shoulder at the tom who was still crouched under the watchful eye of guarding warriors then sighed.
Deep down, Sunfall felt pity for Stoneclan's prisoner. He was being kept here against his will. But star made the right decision. If he was let loose in the territory, who knows what he would do? Eventually, we'll drive him off. Someday...

There was a slight rustling of the leaves as a small she-cat delicatly stepped through the camp clearing. From her jaws hung a sparrow and two mice, the mice dangling from her muzzle by their tails. Each was quite plump, an unlikely find in the early stage of newleaf.
Goldenpool padded toward the fresh-kill pile, stalking straight past Whispers in the Dark. As she came up to the tom, she suddenly turned her head. Orange hued eyes burned into Whispers in the Dark's pelt before she turned away once more. Now locked in thought, the golden cat looked around thoughtfully as she dropped the two mice into the pile. The sparrow still clutched in her jaws, she turned on the spot and headed for the warrior's den.
Goldenpool wasn't surprised to see Sunfall in there, muttering darkly to himself. The she-cat lay down near the entrance of the den, feeling content as the cool soil was pressed against her flanks and belly. Her head bent over the sparrow, she was silent for a few heartbeats. Then her voice rang out, the slightly dark tones curling into the air. "Annoyed Sunfall?" she purred, flicking her tail.

turn your back like you always doWhispers in the DarkFace away and pretend that I'm not But I'll be hereI didn't choose to be me I just am So this is who I am His storm-hued audits caught the sound of rustling in the bracken as a she-cat danced in, jaws full of prey, her optics hit his pelt. Optics flickered up locking onto her golden hued ones, his a crimson red, and a sun-hued color, Death and life... For a moment a picture of a beautiful storm-furred, striped she-cat slipped his mind...Mother..He laid down, his skull bowed in an arch. Why Kelion, you loved her..for a moment deep sorrow passed his facade, as he rembered a day when everything seemed so simple.. Warmth seemed to bleed from everywhere, the sun beat down, as he layed between, Dewdrops, mother, and Kelion, father..their warm pelts brushed his as the lay on the narrow rock, Dewdrops facade turned towards the sun. Kelion a smile passing over his lips for once. And Whispers in the Dark a small bundle of gray fur blending in with theirs...So simple
Whispers in the Dark snapped back, as the apprentinces came, back smug looks across their faces, as they taunted him...Oh look the poor little mouse-brain is sad... Whispers in the Dark raised his lethal bod from the ground, and turned on them claws sheathed, he snarled icily and taking step towards them, made a half-hearted swipe that sent them running, before he flopped back down, a scowl once more twisted his features, and optics once more nothing but slits.. And this is Who I am When I Don't Know Myself Anymore

Aspenpaw My dark hued ears swiveled about as I entered the seemingly calm camp. Sky blue eyes blinked as I slowly gazed around the clearing. Suddenly, the tension that floated around camp snaked it's way around me, setting me on edge as I headed for the fresh-kill pile. The reason for this sudden worry soon became apparent to me.
Crouched off to the side with warriors surrounding him was a tom that I did not know the name or scent of. He seemed unfriendly, snapping at my fellow apprentices whenever they came close. The warriors seemed not to care as to why the apprentices were there, but I knew all too well. They were taunting him, trying to get him to slash at them. It was all a game to the ones younger than I.
A wave of sympathy for the tom swept over me as I halted beside the fresh-kill pile. I knew that the jesting could be cruel, for they did all they could to gather enjoyment from their victims. The delicious scents of the plump prey wafered up to me, causing my mouth to water. Yet, with another glance at the skinny prisoner, I knew anything I bit into would taste sour until I did what I wished to not do.
Picking up a good-sized vole, I turned until my path was heading for this unknown rogue. My cream and brown pelt was being burned by surprised stares of his 'keepers', but I cared not. Their judgement I cared not for at the moment. My paws carried me forward until I halted only a tail-length away from his form. I could see the mistrust and hate in his eyes as he stared at me. Now, with a small flicker of doubt, I lowered my head in a sign of respect. Though he was a prisoner, he was still older, therefore holding a status above my lowly apprentice rank.
I gently dropped the vole onto the ground and pushed the succulent prey towards him with my nose, careful to not get much dirt on it. "Here. You look hungry." Were my simple words as I backed up slightly. Now to see if he would take the prey. I could only hope.

The Lessons that you taught meWhispers in The DarkThey point the finger at me againTurn around Run and Hide or sit down and face it Forget it Or turn around and kill Optics narrowd as another small cat entered, and grabbing prey it turned to approach him..Optics glowed of furry now, as the small tom continued to appraoch, a sheathed claw swept out, another half-hearted attempt. The tom's mug parted and the prey fall out, the brute waited for the lyrics that would cause that cat to get swiped upside that skull, but no what was that..Kindness? For a moment optics flickered in disbelieaf. A paw arched out and snagged the prey..But instead of eating, he looked at the small cat and then at the harsh glares he was getting. Whisper's in The Dark mug's parted, and hardend lyrics split the air like a knife. "My god, he's being kind, showing Manners, You got a problem with that?"One of the other apprentince's snickered and Whispers swiped at him, before he mentioned to the kind apprentince to come over..

Aspenpaw I watched with a warm feeling of satisfaction as the prey was swiped up by the tom's paws. There it lay, pressed to the ground as he gave me a slightly curous stare. Then, turning his head, remarked loudly on the warriors who stared at me. Hastily they turned to look elsewhere, causing me to smile. It seemed like Stoneclan's prisoner had a sense of humor.
Turning my head back toward Whispers in the Dark, I was surprised to see him watching me. Slowly, he motioned to me, and I came. My paws carried me 'till I was standing in front of him, me head inclining my respect toward him that he still deserved, even as a prisoner. "Yes?" I asked, growling slightly as I heard a young she-cat laugh at my attempts at being polite.

I try not to thinkWhispers in the DarkAbout the pain I feel insideSence the silence? Can you feel the anger Can you tell the sorrow within? Can you admit to it?
This small cat intruiged him, hwo could such a young cat have more knowledge then the rest of this rag-tag bunch? Sure the other cat that'd firsrt approached him wasn't that bad, but he was annoying.. Whispers in the dark, listened to the harsh laugh of a she-cat, and his skull whipped around to face her direction, Golden, and Blood-hued optics locked onto hers, and his voice twisted the air like a slash of lightning catching a tree on fire. "Shut it, don't see you trying to make any peace..Not that I'd want any with the likes of you"His skull whipped back around to look at the young tom as the she-cat slunk away, glancing at the guards, his mug parted and optics flickered to The young cat. "Why do you show me the respect that I don't deserve though I prefer it over what these mouse-brained fools are doing.."He motioned at the apprentinces that were sitting on the other side of the clearing, their optics narrowed at him. Whispers raised his sheathed pad and sliced the prey in half, pushing half over you the young cat..

Aspenpaw I watched the young apprentice slink away, her head low. From the glares she had thrown me, I knew all too well I would hear about this in the den tonight. No matter. It made me feel better that I had done this.
I then settled on the ground, relaxing slightly as I lay on my side in the dust. Slightly surprised as half of the vole was pushed toward me, I inclined my head yet again in thanks to the scarred tom. The flesh of the prey was sweet and well welcomed as I eagerly swallowed it down.
Soon leaving only the bones of my prey, I swiped my tongue around my maw, hoping for a few more traces of the vole. Belly full and content, I was now ready to answer the tom's previous question. My eyes flickered back to his face, watching him as I replied. "Though you might be considered a prisoner, it does not mean you are lower than us in status. You are still older than I, deserving respect from me and others my age. That is what we know, or at least what we SHOULD know." I replied, not looking back to see the effect my words had. I knew the sting that the phrase had held anyway. The guards and apprentices shifted uneasily, murmuring darkly. I tried to hide a small smile, but failed. It was too funny how the words of a quiet apprentice could pierce the dignity of a warrior and scold them at the same time.

I do what I can Whispers in the DarkSometimes I don't make senseListen child listen child hush darling oh hush your the one under a spell His ivories tore at the flesh of the vole, till it was gone, except for the bones. The storm-hued brute looked up, crimson red stained his mug and a tounge was swiped around it, the red quickly fading. Audits flickered forward, as the tom settled down his paws tucked under him, and optics locked on the young cat. His skull was nodded at the cat's wrds, and when the older cts shuffled away in embarras, ment, laughter ripped from his mug, dark optics actaully twinkled merrily. His mug parted and lyrics caught the air, and floated lazily over to th apprentince.. "I see, and that cat over there"Whispers in the Dark's paw was lifted and pointed towards Sunfall.. "What is he, and what are you?"

Aspenpaw I felt myself relax slightly as the tom seemed to get a laugh from my words. I could see that he too was not as tense as before. Maybe he isn't as bad as they think. I pondered, now wondering. Where had this tom come from anyway? It seemed, to my short knowledge of him, that he had appeared on Stoneclan territory from nowhere. Here for a reason? I thought. I shuddered as I remembered the last intruders. They had brought news of doom for the Clans and near death for a deputy of Echoclan. Suddenly, I narrowed my eyes at the tom. Was he a member of this so called 'BloodGang'? I didn't think so. He would've attacked by now. Unless.....
I chased the thoughts away. I had no reason to doubt him. Not yet. "I am Aspenpaw and that is Sunfall," I replied, motioning to the warrior with my muzzle, "As to your question, I am what the Clans call an apprentice and he's a warrior. Basically, I'm training to be what he is."

Nothing's gonna change The things that you saidWhispers in the DarkNothing's gonna make this Right againI watch You teach who's to say our elder knows more I belieave it is ruly a lie The young toms lyrics confused him, but he shrugged. So it was Aspenpaw, was it? Whispers in the Dark raised himself, and the guards tensed, he flashed them a look, and they seemed to relax. Whispers in the Dark padded away from them, to a part of the clearing where there was not so much chaos, he motioned for Aspenpaw, to join him.. "Well I think I understand what your saying, but I doubt any of the cats here know this move.."Whispers in the dark, back paws were shifted, and all weight was placed down on them, and the lethal tom was propeled into the air, higher then any Clan cat seemed to be able to jump, it was a defesenive move, and an offesnive..

Aspenpaw I felt nothing but curiousity as the tom rose himself to his feet. The guards suddenly became alert, and I shook my head. Could't they see he meant no harm?
My paws carried me toward the tom, following in his pawsteps as he halted a few foxlengths away. Keeping my eyes trained on him, I suddenly froze as he suddenly leaped high into the air. Instinctively I crouched, my eyes flashing with a brief amount of fear and wonder. It seemed as if he could fly. "Where'd you learn that? Certainly not here!" I called, disbelieving at the hight he had reached. It seemed unreal; Cats couldn't go that high!
