She won't turn aroundRubblefurShe won't make a soundWhy can't I remember Why can't I see Why Cant I see What I do not know but feel Rubblefur padded soundlessly into the hollow, a confused expression crossed her facade, she'd expected to see a mentor and an apprentice. She enjoyed at least being able to watch the apprentices and kits. A wistful expression crossed her face, oh how she longed for kits or an apprentice of her own. Pads easily carried her sleek long-furred bod' to wards one of the tallest trees that circled the clearing..Though the sand felt warm between her pads, she longed for the rough bark of a tree. She slowed to a stop as she came to the tree, for a moment she sat beside it, skull tilted up wards still a wistful look on her facade. After moments had passed she crouched, and sprang easily up onto the bark, claws unsheathed, and began to climb to wards some of the upper branches. As she came to the top branch, she sat close to the trunk, with her long tail curled over her paws. Her thoughts clouded over.. I wonder how the apprentices are doing in their training, is it time for them to be assessed, or what about the prey is it running good, perhaps I should hunt... Her thoughts roamed like that until they came back on a distant memory. rain, to much, sharp rocks, and fear..but before that there had been happiness, but fear still..To preoccupied in her thoughts, she didn't notice anything else.

Ashrunner padded through the dense forest, ears erect, ready for any danger. Opening his mouth to scent his surroundings he picked up the recent trail of Rubblefur. Her scent wandered towards the Star trees, and he finally caught sight of the ivory and spotted she-cat. She sat deep in thought staring blankly at nothing in particular. Her soft flank heaved rhythmically, a small twinkle in her eyes.
Although she was a newer warriors, her expressions always seemed wise. Her posture was strong. Ashrunner still remembered the day she came to the Clan, and wondered how hard it was for Rubblefur to earn a respected place within Dawnclan. But just the same, she was a great warrior.
Not wanting to disturb the she-cat, Ashrunner silently padded a few fox-lengths away and peered up through the trees. The five pine trees were like a cove, but the most amazing thing was the way they formed a star-sky light at the top. Ashrunner sat quietly, wrapping his white-striped tail around his paws. It had been a long day.

Late at nightRubblefurthings I thought I put behind me haunt my mindI still can't remember Oh why can't I see This I know it's like an abyss But I need to know. A small tom, he smell like her, he had only one eye..But why who was he..A distant feeling of someone else in the hollow brought Rubblefur back from her thoughts, though she had wanted to try to figure out who the tom was, she could never rember..Her different hued optics twisted downward where they landed on Ashrunner's ivory colored form below, his facade masked out in a stormy color, his optics were twisted upward staring at the trees... Easily Rubblefur slithered her long-furred bod' down the tree and padded over. Paws seemed to barely touch the ground. Gently, she sat down next to him, and gazed up at the trees, before her maw parted. And soft lyrics rippled into the air. " Beautiful day isn't it?"Hard to believe such sweet lyrics could from the cat that had been a rouge...But she barely remembered it... Ooc~ thanks for replying

ooc: No problemo!
Ashrunner didn't take his eyes off the darkening sky through the starry opening when Rubblefur approached. He had always wondered why she had been named Rubblefur, because so sweet of a cat didn't seem to deserve a name like that. He paused to think when the she-cat asked him a question. Taking his eyes off the night above, he slowly focused on Rubblefur.
Rubblefurs fur blew this way and that, catching the gentlest of warm zephyrs. He wondered what she was thinking, something other than what he would say. "It's amazing, since when have we had a perfect day like this?" a rhetorical question all the same. Ashrunner sat more relaxed now, his tail swished from side to side slowly, his eyes cool with no hint of the usual cockiness that held him up. Yet a small hint of something else trickled through him, he felt uneasy. Not about Rubblefur, but about the whole of the forest. He knew something was coming, maybe not that day, or that moon. But it was forming slowly, and Ashrunner constantly tried to make sense of it.

I wanna knowRubblefurBut I fear the truthThoughts What are they Real Or Fake The breezes felt good against Rubblefur's pelt, such a gentle day that was darkened, by her own thoughts. Her audits barely caught his lyrics, her thoughts growing deeper, and she could since his unease...Her own unease was growing..And instead of answering his question, she asked another one.. "When I was found, was anyone with me, I keep seeing a small kit and he was black and white, and had only eye..He kinda looked like..."Her soft lyrics trailed off, she couldn't even remember if Ashrunner had been one of the cats that had found her, it was awkward to ask, but she couldn't get the imagine of the cat out of her mind..Facade was shook ruffling her fur, but it helped none to clear her mind. Her soft optics turned onto him, it felt as if his unease was growing, but she wasn't positive.

Ashrunner pushed the empty thought away, sighing lightly as Rubblefur turned to him. Her eyes seemed to burn through his own, but he stood strong and forced himself to look stronger, not weary. Rubblefurs next question shocked the smoke-colored tom, and he shuffled his paws in unease.
Ashrunner had been only ten moons. It was his first patrol as a warrior, as Ashrunner instead of Ashpaw. He had wound happily along the border with a few other warriors, including their current deputy. There had been a horrible storm the previous night, but not dangerous enough inside of the camp for him not to be named a warrior. It was then, nearest to the kitty-pets land, that the patrol had found Rubblefur. She had been two moons old, so small, and had been by herself. He didn't remember there being any other cats with her, only a few other scents that barely stayed throughout the storm. The Clan had believed that Rubblefur had been abandoned by rogues, maybe that was who Rubblefur was talking about.
"Looked like who?" Ashrunner questioned Rubblefur back.

If I told you somethingRubblefurCould you keep it a secret. In truth I'm scared for the truth may be the death of me Idly, Rubblefur's long ivory-hued tail was swished...Thinking of the rouge she'd chased out of the territory...She instead of answering steered away from the question.... "Oh...no one......Something troubling you..."First part of her lyrics were unconvincing, when she'd came back to the camp wounded, and crimson hued, instead of her usual ivory and small patches of storm-grey...They had questioned her, but something had stopped her from telling the truth..She told them, it'd been a badger..Really it had been a cat....A cat that looked like the kit in her memories... Optics stayed on Ashrunner's Fire-hued optics..Her gaze held nothing revealing of the day, except a slight flicker of doubt... The sun filtered down through the trees, a star like-shape in the middle, but dappled in other places..She ripped her gaze from Ashrunner and looked up..Almost sun-high...prey would be running....

Ashrunner stared at the young she-cat, thoughts reeling through his head. Atlast he came to a conclusion, he could trust Rubblefur. She had been a friend to him since he was a kit. Although akin as they were, they truly never held a friendship, she was honest and loyal. He looked down for a few seconds, shuffling his paws and clearing his throat, "It's just that, I have this...feeling," his heart beat faster, what if she didn't believe him. He continued, jaw clenched, "A feeling that something is not right. That something," he thought for a moment, "...horrible is going to happen. And the empty pit that seemed to build itself within his stomach seemed to widen. Ashrunners tail flicked from side to side, aware now of everything around him.

I know I shouldn't hide itRubblefurBut it's something that keeps me from speakingNot gonna get us Starting From here Lets Make A Promise
Her optics looked at him for a moment, she had the same feeling before, ever since that rouge cat showed up, and then almost killed her..For a moment she looked down at her snow-hued pads, before she looked up at the storm, hued tom... "I've had the same feeling before to...And, swear you wont tell, but that day I came back and said I'd been attacked by a badger, it was really a cat..That I belieave I might knew from somewhere...And the cat made the feeling grew stronger, his eye was full of murder.."Soft lyrics, gently touched the air, thinking of the one-eyed tom..and for a moment dread spread across her facade, why couldn't she rember?
