***My Voice Recording***
And so the Robin remarked to the Jay: "You know, I've heard that worms make wonderful friends if you do not eat them first."

For much of her life, Pantheress had considered herself a shadow. An unsoluable mass of matter floating the earth undirected by danger but running away from it just the same.
Danger wears two masks. One is the fear of physical injury, agony, and death. The other is simply the fear of facing what you have already run away from: the danger of hurting your own persona by contacting what your own self is to blame for creating. Danger wears two masks, but his true face is yet to be seen.
Smiling, Pantheress found that Sunwing had given her back a form bound to earth by presenting her with hope. But holding onto hope is like climbing a tree, and Pantheress feared that she was climbing this tree too high so that if she fell she would not survive the landing.
Sunwing seemed overjoyed to find her brother once more. Pantheress recalled hearing of the disappearance of Rowanpaw sometime long ago when her memories were intercepted in a fog. She knew Sunwing would want Casey to return with her to Mistclan, but Pantheress saw doubt gnawing at the exteriors of Casey's emotions and wondered if he had already grown used to life as a loner, and preferred it to Clan life. Pantheress knew the feeling, and she also knew that she never wanted to return. Yet, the name Nightheart kept echoing around in a small room in the back of her mind, drawing her closer and closer back to the life she had once known and fled from. And now, here she stood in a clearing with the Mistclan leader herself. And though Pantheress loved life as a rogue, she found that she was failing in her means to stay separate from the Clans.
'I'm here if you need me. Is there anything I can do to help? I don't know the land well, but I could search for some Adder's Bark, or some Belan. There was even this wonderful plant up in the mountains we used, Aloe, and I swore I saw some entering the forest a couple of days ago. I could try and find it again. I don't suppose you'd have any Aspen tree bark handy, would you? The poor child needs some, I believe...'
Lilyan, the she-cat with stripes like fern shadows, spoke in a melodious voice that was both motherly and confident.
"Yes, please. Thank-you Lilyan," Pantheress nodded, emerald eyes regaining their light as if a lantern had been brought up from a tunnel which was being questioned. She turned her gaze back to the Clan leaders, aware of Damien's gaze upon her back.

Amber eyes glinting in the night, Wrenstar felt exhaustion gnawing at her toes like minnows. She could see her own warriors slowly falling away, their forms laying in soft moss beneath an Alder tree. She had brought them because she had feared an attack from BloodGang. The leaders were far from their Clans, and out in a clearing blind to where danger might lurk in the bushes. She had not brought up the subject against unease in the other leaders, but had hoped that they would understand her precautions. A battle would not be won easily if all four leaders were lost.
"It is late," Wrenstar let her voice carry out into the darkness lit by stars and a moon without mercy. "We should all get some sleep and begin battle-training in the morning. We have a long day ahead of us. Bandit," Wrenstar turned her gaze to the almost ghostly appearance of the ivory tom in the darkness. "Would you prefer I station cats on guard in the Stone Hollow to protect Resistance members?"

And the Jay back to the Robin snapped: "Friends!? I would rather eat the worms than be surrounded by their wiggling, slimly bodies. Have they feathers!? Have they wings to fly!?"
"No," replied the Robin. "But they know many things I would never knew I hadn't known."
