( Darn Scarface...)
You've never seen confusion Match Until you've seen what I have
Voices Angry, loud Silent, and broken
Match wriggled his bod' as far forward as he could in his little hide-out. It was like a game of hide and seek; he was hidden, but no one was seeking him. His amber optics ran over the clearing again and again, trying to take it in. At first, it seemed that this 'Seth' was winning as he fought against a wounded Fiver. Pantheress was quickly finishing off her oppenents, and a new loner was fighting off another BloodGang cat. His optics lingered on their quick battle, before returning to Fiver. His skull ached, not only from his wounds but from everyting he was taking in. Fiver and Seth circled each other, their soft lyrics filling the air. And next thing he knew... yet another BloodGang cat had joined the battle, but instead of fighting he went up to Fiver, and pressed against her small bod' as if she was a long lost friend, Seth and others compeltly forgotten. "Pantheress...?" his quiet lyrics were ment for only her ears, a call of questioning and help. He stayed hidden, not trusting himself.
~*~*~
Coiled tight Bluepaw I'm ready to spring
Where are you going? Leaving us Leaving me
Bluepaw small bod' crouched there among the bushes, her bright blue optics glancing around the clearing. She had lost the patrol's scent, but quickly picked up these others. Now, her small skull twisted this way and that, survaying the scene. It seemed... it seemed that the kittypets were winning But looks can be deciving Bluepaw's optic searched the clearing again, looking for a familier face or scent. And found one. Silently, she scrambled over to Bandit. "What are you doing here?" her soft lyrics hovered in the air. "I'm really glad you're. Looks like were going to need help," Real relief, and happiness that this stranger was amoung them danced on her face. Her lips twisted up into a smile, before fading. "Copperfur and some others from Echoclan will be here soon. Should we wait?" her lyrics caught, and trembled. Her first real battle

Shall I compare thee to a riverbed stone? Thou art more blind and cold-hearted. Rough visions of death don’t make you groan, And caring not about the departed. Sometime coming close to the warmth of day, And often too soon shunning it away. And every fair from fair sometime declines, By chance, or nature’s changing course unlined. But thy everlasting coldness shall not fade, Nor lose your ironic beauty that shines with jade, Nor shall the world ever reveal, When in darkness your soul shall peal. So long as you show incompassion, So long will this world hold a deadly fashion.
From the vermillion gaze of: ~Seth~ Let thy endless secrets die, in hopes of living, try.
His spheres of crimson vision locked toward the scene, tail swaying as twisted thoughts snaked through his mind like a vast, black fog. He was notified through Fiver's confused, sad gaze that the mood of the clearing had made a drastic turn. Steppingstone was her father. This was good. This meant that Fiver, a cat who would make a formidable enemy, would not have to be killed, but become a valuable ally. His cardinal gaze swept across the clearing toward Pantheress, Match and Slvana. He smiled. Now that they had been weakened, he could set loose his final assault. It was growing close to time for the BloodGang to claim the forest, and put it under his rule. He only hoped that Rose, Scarface, and Ridge would be as successful in their captures.
He raised his powerful, handsome head and let out two, shattering words echoing across the clearing. The icy tone sent a chilling sensation through the Gnarled Forest, as if a wintry breeze had suddenly buffeted the trees. "Finish this." At once the bushes parted and five more cats prowled into the hollow. Their shoulders hunched in attack mode, and barbed claws churning the earth as they surrounded the three remaining loners and rogues. Now, not only were they outnumbered, but they were weakened by the false attack. This was the true crusade.
Seth turned and padded back toward the bushes, his face straight and expressionless. He beckoned with a flick of his banded tail for Fiver and Steppingstone to follow, calling over his shoulder like he was whispering a last farewell. "Come, the others will return shortly along with the three. This will be an easy recruit."
****************************************
From the emerald vision of ~Pantheress~ Through the twisted hollows of life, walk through sunbeams as well as shadows.
The scene unfolded with the eeriness of a horrible dream. Fiver's paws stepped from our island into the BloodGang's desolate surge. Even though I had known the one called Slvana for only these last, few moments, I felt as if she was now one of us. But my hearted victory only lasted as long as it took Fiver to cross the clearing, and crouch beside her father. A surge of horror trickled down my pelt like a slow runnel of blood as the bushes parted, and our last hope vanished along with Seth's banded tail into the bushes. I wanted to stay, and to fight. I wanted to let these cats know I wasn't weak, that I could defeat all five at once. But I knew that would be foolish. If I had any chance of leaving this clearing without the BloodGang's title upon my ebony back, then I could have to do the unthinkable. I would have to run.

Steppingstone turned his gaze to Seth, his face now an expressionless mask. It seemed as if he had lost all traces of his happiness in only a heartbeat. But, in truth, this was a lie. The vacant eyes that held nothing hid thier fire of joy. He could, in reality, be no happier. He had found a reason that life was important. The tom knew one thing for sure: He would not leave Fiver behind again. Heading after his new leader, the tom looked over his tabby-striped shoulder at Fiver. "Come Fiver. Time to go home." ------------ Her expression of smugness turning to one of horror, Slvana began to growl once more. She could now see the five BloodGang cats surrounding them. Glancing around, each seemed fixed on capturing them. She took a deep breath. There was no way to fight, no way to run. They had been defeated. "What now?" She whispered, glancing back at the cat called Pantheress.

Her small bod' snaked throug the tres, and undergrowth..Her optics narrowed to slits, as she stared around, angry raidated from her, yet it was mixed with joy. She'd like to kill, Seth, but she couldn't..Not yet..

Left in a realm of no return, How can the weak survive? I put aside my pride's harsh burn, To create a life-saving strive. When once the evils of nature capture, You must find a way to resist. For once you find that special rapture, Your life gives way to the missed. To find your true heart, Is the thing that will never keep your true soul apart.
From the viresent spheres of ~Pantheress~ To be the benevolent, is much harder than being the malevolent.
I narrowed my emerald-hued preceptors as the five closed in. I picked up Slvana's whispered words of confusion. I didn't turn my emerald vision her way, but kept it locked upon the two closest BloodGang cats. I kept a straight face, but deep down in my gut, I felt the horrible knotting sensation of panic. My eyes lashed toward Fiver's pelt that disappeared into the gnarled roots and dark brush. Traitor! I looked over to Slvana, her face twisted in a snarl. I felt as if I had a duty to protect at lest her and Match. And Match was the worst off if the BloodGang cats attacked. I hissed at the cats as they observed us, their faces beaming with pleasured smirks. There was no way out. We were surrounded... trapped. We were already defeated by the impossible odds. I swallowed, if there was an option, I would rather die fighting then join the BloodGang.
Suddenly, I felt an odd, cooling sensation. If felt as if fur had just brushed against my pelt, and whipped my head toward my side. But there was no one there. Feeling confused and a little freaked out, I gasped as the BloodGang cats began to pad forward to claim their victims. That's when I heard the voice. "Be brave Nightheart." Mother?
I looked around wildly, but it seemed as if no other cat had heard Silentstep's voice. Mom....? "I'm here. Don't be afraid." I looked to my side and could almost pick out two emerald eyes that were identical to mine. Why had she come? My name is Pantheress now. Why are you here? "Nightheart would've been your name, if you had stayed in Mistclan. You've grown so much..." How... how are my siblings? "They are here too." I felt more presences, and thee iridescent kits came into view. "You can't give up now, sister," Talonkit mewed. "You can't let those bad cats take over Mistclan," squeaked Puddlekit. Mistkit stepped forward and smiled, "We all have faith in you, Nightheart."
They embraced my ebony fur one last time, then faded into the sky. A tear ran down my cheek, and I left them with one last word. Thanks. I stood and lashed my head toward the BloodGang cats who were now only mouse-lengths away. I raised my head in defiance with a new strength that had flowed into my heart. "We'll never join BloodGang!" I yowled, dashing toward them. I knocked the three in front of me onto their sides, then turned and pushed Match toward the far side of the hollow. I whipped around and planted two, long lashes toward the faces of the BloodGang cats who had leapt to their paws.
"C'mon, Slvana," I yowled. "Let's get out of here!"

Slvana watched with disbelief as Pantheress yet again attacked. Though three cats attacked her at the same time, they were no match. Now they lay unconsious on the ground at the black she-cat's paws. Slvana blinked as one tom leaped toward her, his eyes blazing with fury. It took the she-cat loner only a moment to see his weakness. The leap too high, he left his belly unprotected. Slvana rocketed upward, plunging her claws into the tom's belly. He let out a painful yowl, his paws now swingling wildly as they tumbled in a free fall.
Slvana let out a hiss of pain as sharp claws dug into her shoulders. She and the tom fell to the earth, both winded but still fighting. Eventually, after a few heartbeats of struggle, Slvana ended up on top. Ignoring the stabbing pain in her shoulders, she crouched above him, her weight holding him down. A smirk crossed her face as she unsheathed one claw and placed it on the side of his throat.
"You get away this time. If you don't leave us alone, you'll regret it." Were the words she uttered as she glared at him with flame-filled orange eyes. Lightly dragging her claw across his throat to show she meant what she said, the young she-cat lowered her head. The tom seemed scared now; He wasn't the bully he once was. Her muzzle was now level with his neck. The tom gasped as she slowly drew her tongue along the length of his throat before swiping her tongue around her maw. " I bet you taste just as good as prey too. Remeber my warning." She purred. Glancing once more into his paniced gaze, Slvana leaped off toward the bushes, soon swallowed up by the darkness.
"I'm right behind you!"

Match gasped as Pantheress launched herself at the other BloodGang members, then shoved him to the edge of the hollow. Every muscle in his body screamed in pain at him, but he ignored it. He definitely was in no shape to fight, but maybe he could cause a distraction? He glanced around for anything that could be useful, and almost missed the two waiting shapes. His amber eyes ran over the two cats again, well hidden from the horror in the clearing. One was about a moon younger than Match, and the other seemed surprised at the younger's presence. Their faintest scent reached him. Clan cats! he thought. What were they doing here? But before Match could do anything else, Pantheress and Slvana bolted past him. Taking a deep breath, he relied on the adrenaline that flowed through his blood now, taking over him as he raced after them.
Bluepaw sat quietly, hardly daring to breath. The one that seemed to be the leader- Seth, was his name?- left, the kittypet and her father following, leaving the others too fight five new opponents. "Do you think we should help them?" she whispered, her voice shaking. Suddenly, she felt eyes upon her and snapped her head up. The injured loner was looking at her and Bandit, a confused expression on his scratched face. He's no older than me! she gasped. But before the loner could do anything, he raced off after the others. "Looks like they're retreating. Should we go back to, Bandit?" she asked softly, icy blue eyes scanning the clearing for any more BloodGang cats

A veil of confusion passed over the handsome silver toms face, who was this young she-cat? Tail swaying agilely, ears erect and turned hesitantly back, and icy blue eyes but slits he challenged the young cat, "I don't know what you're talking about."
How did this young cat know his name, Bandit had stayed with Stoneclan for less than a moon. And to what advantage did it bring him to? None. He had left their presence in a cautious state, the dreams that had been nagging him to do something worse than ever. But what could he do, Stoneclan served no purpose. And the she-cat speaking to him now somehow believed they were allies? Go back where? To the city, the very thing he had agreed to run away from? He understood joining Bloodgang was the last thing on his mind, everything they did was not only wrong, but reminded him of the cruel things he had forced himself to stop. Seth's greedy ambition could not convince all cats to join his gang, but what if those dreams held something else for him?
And then it hit him, not a Bloodgang member, but an idea. It seemed so far from him now, but it could easily grow. There were plenty of abandoned twoleg houses, barns, around. What if he could build up something. Something other than a Clan, but could fight with them? Although he found nothing for himself within Stoneclan, what other rogues, loners, and possibly kittypets could help him? A resistance, The Resistance.
Quick paws, and a curt nod of apology to the young she-cat, Bandit excused himself. The sooner the better, he must find cats that would fight with him. Pantheress, wherever she was he was determined to find her. If any cat could help him take control of this idea it was her, the legend.

(Oops. Sorry, got confused XD Bluepaw doesn't actually know Bandit. She just reconizes Stoneclan scent)
Bluepaw froze as the silver tom excused himself and slipped out into the open. Her eyes widened in fright. The Stoneclan tom was walking away, her only familierority in this clearing of destruction. "Where are you going?! Don't leave me here!" she pleaded in a soft hiss. But the tom's mind seemed made up as he hurried after the loners. Bluepaw was left alone, the BloodGang cats starting to rise to their feet. Copperfur and the other's weren't coming, and she was left alone with blood thirty strangers. Holding her breath, she kept back sobs of fear as she backed away, before turning and racing back towards camp. Wrenstar must know about this!
